Hi there!
Today we want you to meet brilliant artist and illustrator, Amy Heitman. Over the last six years, Amy has launched a super successful design studio located just southwest of Chicago — all while raising three kids (supermom!). Inspired by “the intricate details of creation,” her hand-illustrated designs have quickly become a big “dill” around here :) As part of our #paperlove campaign, we asked Amy a few fun questions to get to know her better.

Here’s what she said …
My personal icon in the paper industry is ___, because…
Katie Leamon, because I love her work. I think it feels so fresh and unique and love how it spans a broad range of styles from hand lettered to marbled yet still feels so cohesive as a brand.
You might not guess this about me, but…
My dream is to live on a farm with a huge garden, goats, chickens, and ducks.
I believe in snail mail because…
I love how a simple handwritten note has so much power to brighten and transform someones day-there really is nothing better then finding an unexpected card or note in your mailbox. Everything in our culture is so instant today because of technology and social media and I think it makes a hand written note so much more special and meaningful.
To see the second half of the Q&A, head on over to the Pink Olive blog. And here’s one more sweet treat: this month, you’ll get a special gift with any in-store purchase from Amy Heitman’s line at Pink Olive.
What's on your mind?
